Gidel FantoVision edge computers Gidel FantoVision edge computers are designed for high-bandwidth applications. Powered by the Nvidia Jetson™ embedded computers with optional pre-processing on the Intel Arria 10™ FPGA, they provide seamless integration of high-end image acquisition with real-time image processing and/or compression. With Gidel’s InfiniVision™ open frame grabber flow, over 100 sensors can be synchronized and processed simultaneously. In addition, multiple FantoVision units can be interconnected to create unique and scalable topologies.
The FantoVision computer’s unique architecture enables open and customizable AI/image processing. Robust software tools are included for programming the GPUs using CUDA C/C++ and NVIDIA libraries, and the Gidel ProcVision™ Suite simplifies and accelerates the development and deployment of optional pre-processing blocks on the FPGA.
