Gidel CamSim Camera simulator - camera simulator

Gidel CamSim is a high-performance camera simulator that generates CoaXPress and Camera Link video streams and test patterns for testing frame grabbers, and vision & imaging systems. In addition to supporting all CoaXPress and Camera Link™ v2.0 configurations, this flexible system also supports user-defined camera protocols and interfaces.

Gidel CamSim enhances productivity and lowers development costs for vision and imaging systems. Its data flow repetition allows developers to validate algorithms with appropriate input and confirm expected functionality in a low-cost lab environment.

The CamSim camera simulator is ideal for testing tailored designs developed on Gidel’s customizable frame grabbers and Jetson edge computer, vision algorithms development, image processing application testing, and vision system reliability testing. Should the rare bug occur, CamSim accurately reconstructs the data flow, enabling quick location and resolution.
