Industrial 3D ToF and RGB-D Cameras for Precise Depth Sensing and Real-Time 3D Imaging

LUCID Vision Labs Helios2 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) cameras deliver real-time depth and 3D point cloud data for industrial machine vision, robotics, logistics, inspection, measurement, and automation applications. Built around the Sony DepthSense IMX556PLR global shutter CMOS sensor, Helios2 cameras provide 640 × 480 (0.3 MP) depth resolution with on-camera 3D processing in rugged IP67-rated housings.

The Helios2 family includes multiple configurations optimized for different 3D imaging requirements. Helios2+ cameras add on-camera HDR and High-Speed modes for challenging high-contrast and dynamic scenes. Helios2 Narrow and Helios2+ Narrow models provide a focused 31° × 24° field of view for tighter point clouds and reduced multipath errors, while Helios2 Wide expands coverage with a 108° × 78° field of view. Helios2 Ray uses 940 nm VCSEL illumination for improved performance in outdoor and sunlight conditions.

Helios2 Chroma RGB-D cameras combine a Helios2 ToF depth camera and LUCID Triton color camera in a single factory-assembled and precision-calibrated IP67 unit, providing aligned color and depth data for generating colorized 3D point clouds without requiring user calibration.

All Helios2 cameras feature GigE Vision connectivity, GenICam 3D support, industrial M12 connectors, and integration with LUCID Arena SDK software.
