Schneider Optics Industrial Lenses and Lens Systems


Schneider Optics manufacturers very high quality megapixel-class lenses that are very well suited for factory automation and precision measurement applications. Schneider Optics lenses are available in 2/3" to 43mm (F-mount) format. The 5 Megapixel APO-Xenoplan family is specifically optimized for the popular 3.45µm pixel size of today's finest CMOS sensors. All Schneider Optics lenses are made from the finest quality glass and feature extremely low distortion, metal barrels with locking screws to ensure long-term stability in production environments, and offer some of the shortest minimum object distance (MOD) in the industry. Schneider Optics lenses are optically corrected and broadband coated for the spectral range of 400-1000nm, 400-700nm, and 700-1000nm, offering optimal transmission across the VIS-NIR spectral range. Schneider Optics is one of the superior lens manufacturers that publishes and warrants lp/mm, MTF, and transmission data for its lens products.

Compact C-Mount 2/3" Lenses

Schneider Optics C-Mount 2/3" compact lenses are optically corrected and broadband coated for the spectral range of 400-1000nm(VIS+NIR) on megapixel cameras. They can image properly across the entire specified range without any focus shifts.

The robust mechanical design with lockable focus and iris-setting mechanism guarantees long-term stability even in typical production environments.

Most of the 2/3" format lenses accept an M30.5x0.5 filter thread, with the exception of the Cinegon 1.8/4.8mm lens which uses a filter adapter to accept an M62x0.75 filter.

5 Megapixel APO-Xenoplan lenses

Schneider Optics 5 Megapixel APO-Xenoplan lenses featuring a robust and versatile design are widely used in industrial applications like high-precision geometric metrology and traffic supervision applications. APO-Xenoplan lenses are desiged for 2/3" CMOS/CCD sensors with small pixel sizes of 3.5µm. the APO-Xenoplans provide highest resolution, apochromatic correction, and broadband coating allowing the lenses to cover a wide spectral range (up to 1200nm).
