The Gidel Proc10A-40GigE FPGA-based frame grabber, based on the Intel Arria 10 FPGAs provides immense processing power and plentiful memory to satisfy the highest performance and bandwidth requirements demanded by real-time image processing.
With eight CXP-6 links this ultra-high bandwidth frame grabber can achieve an aggregated bandwidth of up to 50 GB/s. This frame grabber features a PCIe Gen. 3 x 8 host bus and immense image buffers (up to 32 GB) with real-time compression, and the capability to offload Regions Of Interest (ROI) for enhanced bandwidth utilization. In addition, the Proc10A_CXP-6 supports the use of eight 500+ MPixels/s Gidel Lossless and JPEG encoders, effectively doubling pixel frequency. Like all Gidel FPGA-based frame grabbers, you can choose from Plug-n-Play frame grabbers to highly customized modular solutions.
Gidel FPGA frame grabbers offer real-time, high-bandwidth vision and image processing. Their frame grabbers range from economical off-the-shelf frame grabbers to high-performance, multi-camera custom solutions with 10GigE or CoaXPress interfaces. Development is streamlined with the ProcFG and InfiniVision SDK, which includes GUIs, APIs, and libraries with support for complex multi-camera setups, advanced image processing, and compression.
