The Gidel HawkEye-CXP-12 CoaXPress FPGA-based frame grabber is designed to satisfy the highest performance and bandwidth requirements demanded by diverse FPGA-based image processing systems.
The HawkEye-CXP-12 features up to four CoaXPress (CXP-12/CXP-6) links that can be connected to 1 to 4 CXP-12 cameras. The PCIe Gen. 3 x8 host bus enables CPU-free, ultra-fast offload bandwidth. The frame grabber’s acquisition bandwidth and image processing capabilities are further enhanced by the large data buffers (up to 16 GB), built on a powerful Intel Arria 10 FPGA. Like all Gidel FPGA-based frame grabbers, you can choose from Plug-n-Play frame grabbers to highly customized modular solutions.
Gidel FPGA frame grabbers offer real-time, high-bandwidth vision and image processing. Their frame grabbers range from economical off-the-shelf frame grabbers to high-performance, multi-camera custom solutions with 10GigE or CoaXPress interfaces. Development is streamlined with the ProcFG and InfiniVision SDK, which includes GUIs, APIs, and libraries with support for complex multi-camera setups, advanced image processing, and compression.
