The IDS Imaging Ensenso X Series 3D camera is an ultra-flexible, modular, 3D GigE industrial camera system that is based on the stereo vision principle. With many configurable options this modular 3D camera system enables a wide range of working distances > 5 meters or volumes of several cubic meters up to 8 m3 to capture pallets of objects or entire rooms.
The Ensenso X 3D camera system includes a 100 watt LED projector with an integrated GigE power switch. The 3D camera system can be configured with many GigE uEye cameras and a 1.6 or 5 megapixel CMOS monochrome sensor to create your customized 3D imaging system. Mounting brackets are available in a number of widths to accommodate base lines with different sizes. The camera's angle of view can also be configured. A number of C-mount lenses with different focal lengths can be selected to work with the camera and projector.
Ensenso 3D camera systems are mounted and pre-calibrated for easy set-up. With the Ensenso SDK Setup Wizard additional set-up and integration such as focus can be adjusted as needed. IP65/67 protection for harsh environments with special cables, and lens tubes for the cameras and the projector is optional.
The X Series 3D camera systems are available with a choice of two variants: X30 and X36 3D camera systems.
Ensenso X30 3D camera system The Ensenso X30 3D camera system is designed to capture moving objects making it suitable for many industrial applications such as factory automation production lines, and bin picking. The dot pattern projection mask produces high quality 3D data with a single image pair.
Ensenso X36 3D camera system The Ensenso X36 3D camera system is designed to capture static objects. FlexView2 greatly increases the resolution producing 3D images with precise detail and definition of the objects being captured even with low light or reflective surfaces.
