The Teledyne DALSA Xtium3-CLHS PX8 is a high performance frame grabber designed for maximum sustained throughput with high-speed image acquisition rates up to 8.6 GB/s and host transfer rates up to 12.5 GB/s. Featuring a PCI Express™ Gen 4.0 half-board with a Camera Link HS board interface, this single-slot, single-cable solution supports up to 7 CLHS lanes. Each lane operates at 10.3125 Gbps providing 72.2 Gbps in total.

The Xtium3-CLHS PX8 is compatible with area and line scan cameras.The CLHS X-protocol enables the Xtium3-CLHS PX8 frame grabber to achieve over 97% packet efficiency with 64/66-bit encoding. This frame grabber includes a 4 GB image buffer and an additional 4 GB for processing functions including support for TDI multi-plane image processing. When paired with Active Optical Cable (AOC) cables, this frame grabber can transmit images at a sustained maximum input data rate for cable lengths exceeding 30 meters.

The Teledyne DALSA's Sapera LT SDK is a free image acquisition and control toolkit for Teledyne DALSA 2D/3D, GigE, Camera Link, Camera Link HS cameras, and frame grabbers.
