The LUCID Vision Labs Helios2+ Narrow is a high-performance industrial 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera combining narrow-field depth imaging with on-camera HDR and High-Speed modes. Featuring the Sony DepthSense IMX556PLR global shutter CMOS sensor, the Helios2+ Narrow provides 640 × 480 (0.3 MP) depth resolution and generates real-time 3D point cloud data for demanding machine vision, robotics, measurement, and automation applications.
Focused illumination and a narrow 31° × 24° field of view generate tighter point clouds while reducing multipath errors, making the Helios2+ Narrow particularly well suited for applications requiring accurate depth measurements within a defined viewing area. HDR mode combines multiple exposures to improve depth data in high-contrast scenes containing surfaces with different reflectivity, while High-Speed mode provides frame rates up to 103 fps for imaging moving objects and other dynamic applications.
Two configurations optimize performance for different target distances. The HPN003S-100 is optimized for maximum precision and accuracy at target distances from 0.75 to 1.5 meters, while the HPN003S-300 is optimized for targets from 1.5 meters to infinity. Both models provide a working distance from 0.3 to 8.3 meters.
LUCID Vision Labs Helios2 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) cameras provide real-time depth and 3D point cloud data for machine vision, robotics, logistics, measurement, inspection, and automation applications. The Helios2 family includes standard, HDR and high-speed, narrow and wide field-of-view, outdoor-optimized, and RGB-D models to address a range of industrial 3D imaging requirements.
