The IDS Imaging Ensenso XR Series 3D camera is an ultra-flexible, modular, 3D embedded camera system The XR 3D embedded camera system features a powerful integrated projector with a built-in 100 watt LED front light, and an on-board processor that rivals the power of a fast desktop computer. On-board data processing reduces the network load making the XR 3D camera system ideal for multi-camera systems, and applications such as continuous production production lines.
XR Series 3D camera systems are based on the stereo vision principle. With many configurable options this modular 3D camera system enables a wide range of working distances > 5 meters or volumes of several cubic meters up to 8 m3 to capture pallets of objects or entire rooms.
Ensenso XR 3D camera systems are built with two IDS GigE cameras, CMOS sensors, mounting brackets, three lenses and patch cables that connect the cameras to the XR projector unit, and include IP65/67 protection with special cables, and lens tubes for the cameras and the projector. Like the Ensenso X Series 3D camera system the XR 3D embedded camera system can be customized for your 3D imaging application.
The XR Series 3D embedded camera systems are available with a choice of two variants: XR30 and XR36 3D camera systems.
Ensenso XR30 3D camera system The Ensenso XR30 3D camera is designed to capture fast moving objects making it suitable for many industrial applications such as factory automation production lines, and bin picking. The dot pattern projection mask produces high quality 3D data with a single image pair.
Ensenso XR36 3D camera system The Ensenso XR36 3D camera is designed to capture static objects. FlexView2 greatly increases the resolution producing 3D images with precise detail and definition of the objects being captured even with low light or reflective surfaces.
