Prophesee Metavision® AMD Kria KV260 Starter Kit
Ultra high speed and low latency HD embedded vision system built on AMD Kria KV260

Prophesee Metavision® AMD Kria KV260 Starter Kit for Event-Based Vision systems

The Prophesee Metavision® AMD Kria KV260 Metavision Starter Kit leverages the AI performance, power, and speed of Prophesee sensors to develop the next wave of Edge AI machine vision applications.

Experience groundbreaking computer vision performance with an Event-based Vision solution operating on the leading FPGA-based AMD Kria™ Vision AI platform. AMD Kria™ K260 System-on-Module (SOM) is a small, production-ready module designed for accelerating vision AI and robotic applications at the edge. The AMD Kria KV260 FPGA development board is available separately.

The AMD Kria KV260 Metavision Starter Kit is available in two configurations:

  1. Sony IMX636 Event-Based Vision Sensor (EVS) - an ultra-high-speed and low-latency stacked Event-based Vision Sensor (EVS) with cutting edge event-based vision technology, developed in collaboration between Sony and Prophesee
  2. Prophesee GenX320 Metavision® Event-Based Vision Sensor (EVS) - the smallest (ultra-compact 3x4mm format) and most power-efficient stacked Event-Based Vision Sensor (EVS)

The evaluation/starter kit offers an excellent starting point for exploring Event-Based Vision technology and neuromorphic engineering. This kit simplifies embedded event-based vision development by providing Plug-n-Play hardware, software drivers, and powerful, customizable application algorithm examples.

Event-Based Vision (EVS) sensors and neuromorphic engineering technology have overcome the limits encountered with traditional machine vision technology, and enabled many exciting applications to be developed including object tracking, fall detection, eye tracking, gesture recognition, constellation tracking, motion analysis, and vibration tracking. Check out these Event-Based Vision System applications in action.
