The camera window displays the camera image as soon as you start image acquisition or capture single images.

Fig. 236: Camera window
The upper toolbars contain buttons for various image information, image sharpness measurement, overlays, and video recording. Use the tool menu to configure the camera.
The status bar at the bottom of the window displays the following information:
•Frame rate in fps.
•Number of captured images since the camera was opened.
•Number of incomplete images since the camera was opened.
•Number of reconnects, i.e. how many times the camera has been reconnected since the camera was opened.
•Coordinates of the last position of the mouse pointer in the camera image.
If the camera is open in IDS peak Cockpit but is currently disconnected, a corresponding note will be displayed in the title bar of the camera window ("disconnected"). As soon as the camera is connected again (reconnect), the hint will disappear.
uEye 3D cameras
Depending on the selected image component (see Host features dialog), you can select different views in the camera window:
•Image component "Intensity": Image2D
•Image component "Range": Image3D and 3DView
•Image component "Confidence": ConfidenceMap

If you have opened multiple views in the camera window, you can click
to display all views side by side.

Unlike the general operation of the display in the camera window (see Scaling and panning the display), you can zoom directly in the “3DView” view using the mouse wheel and rotate the 3D view using the right mouse button. Use the left mouse button to pan the view. You set the default views in the Settings 3D dialog. |
