Syntax

INT is_SetCameraID (HIDS hCam, INT nID)

Description

Using is_SetCameraID(), you can assign a unique camera ID to a camera. Thus, it is possible to access the camera directly with the is_InitCamera() function.

The camera ID is stored in the non-volatile memory of the camera. The factory default camera ID is 1. The camera ID can also be changed in the IDS Camera Manager.

hint_info

Note for GigE uEye cameras

The change of the camera ID only has an effect on the boot boost mode after reconnecting the camera.

If you add a camera to the boot boost list by changing the camera ID, the camera must not be open.
