IDS peak 2.17.1 / uEye+ firmware 3.70

IDS Peak comfortSDK, genericSDK, IPL, and AFL developer manuals are external documents. Please contact us if you need them.

ROI

The frame rate does not increase by the use of a horizontal ROI.

Gain

The default settings for gain are optimized for color cameras with HQ filter. For proper color rendition, if a color model is used without HQ filter, lenses should be used that include a HQ-type filter element (IR-cut filter, also known as "hot mirror", with a cut-off wavelength at approx. 650 nm).

Binning

Sensor binning is only supported by monochrome sensors.

Decimation

Sensor decimation is only supported by color sensors.

Pixel format

Due to the manufacturer, the minimum and maximum pixel values are not used for the sensor pixel formats. For example, in a 12-bit pixel format, only the value 4094 is reached for saturation, but not 4095.

GigE uEye+ LE Rev. 2

The model does not support the following features:

Alternatively, you can perform auto exposure on the host with IDS peak comfortSDK or you can use the auto functions in IDS peak genericSDK.

Automatic gain (GainAuto)
Alternatively, you can perform the gain functions on the host with IDS peak comfortSDK or you can use the auto functions in IDS peak genericSDK.

Automatic white balance (BalanceWhiteAuto)
Alternatively, you can perform the automatic white balance on the host with IDS peak comfortSDK or you can use the auto functions in IDS peak genericSDK.

Chunks (ChunkDataControl)

Color correction (ColorCorectionMode)
Alternatively, you can perform color correction on the host.

Gamma (Gamma)
Alternatively, you can use IDS peak IPL to perform gamma on the host.

Line scan mode (SensorOperationMode "Linescan")
