Area Array Illuminators

NERLITE Area Array Illuminators are available in several configurations. For illumination of small areas, models include spot (S-40 Series), square (AR-50, AR-75 and AR-100), rectangular (AR-50x200) and linear (LA-50, LA-100 and LA-150) line light configurations. For illuminating large areas or when very high intensity is required, NERLITE ® LALLTM – Large Area LED Lights – are available in both square and linear formats. Models are available for continuous or strobed applications. Fresnel (focusing) lenses are available for the LA-Series linear arrays and the S-40 Series spot arrays.

An Area Array's general purpose, unidirectional design (adjustable via mounting position) may be used for dark-field (creating shadows and specular reflection) or for bright-field lighting for diffused surfaces.

General Purpose Illumination

Area Array Illuminators are typically used for machine vision illumination of non-specular surfaces in applications that demand economical, general purpose lighting.
