Please be advised that starting immediately, all new shipments of the X64-CL iPro (PN: OR-64E0-IPRO0, OC-64E0-IPRO0) and the X64-CL iPro Lite (PN: OR-64E0-IPROL & OC-64E0-IPROL) boards, require device driver version 1.50.00.0603 and above.
The new driver is tested and validated to be fully backward compatible with all X64-CL IPRO Series boards. Furthermore, the new driver doesn't require any changes to the user applications.
Nature of Problem: A recent batch of components is found to have tighter timing tolerances, causing intermittent data corruption at higher temperatures. The new driver adjusts the timing to overcome this issue.
We are taking these urgent steps to maintain uninterrupted supply of the boards.
We continue to ship these boards that meet and/or exceed specified operating temperature limits.
For proper field traceability all new boards are identified with ECO# 8474. A sticker indicating this ECO# is affixed on the board.
