Why USB 3.0?

IDS, a leader in industrial USB cameras, has introduced USB 3.0 technology in the IDS uEye CP camera family. The USB 3.0 camera interface has been appropriately dubbed ‘SuperSpeed USB’ with data rates up to 400 MB.

IDS USB 3.0 cameras feature high resolution CMOS sensors and high performance making them very well suited for multi-camera and 3D machine vision applications. With compact size, low weight, and an integrated power supply, these USB 3.0 cameras are an excellent choice for embedded systems.

USB 3.0 Camera Software

The IDS uEye software package uEye SDK includes drivers, interfaces, and tools and is compatible for all uEye USB cameras. Plug & Play technology and the IDS camera manager enable easy installation for both Windows and Linux. Download the latest USB 3.0 software for the uEye CP camera.
